1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Giraffe application (“App”) provided by TecFams Pte Ltd (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

 

2. Description of the App

The Giraffe App is designed to monitor your children’s growth and family BMI effortlessly with our smart scale and mobile app for tracking and comparison with CDC standards and global recommendations.

 

3. User Responsibilities

  • Account Registration: You may be required to create an account to use certain features of the App. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep this information up-to-date.
  • Compliance: You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to:
    • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
    • Interfere with or disrupt the App’s operation.
    • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its related systems.

 

4. Use by Minors

The App is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. Parents or legal guardians may use the App to track and manage data for children under their care. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process personal data from children under 13 years of age without verified parental consent. If we discover that such data has been collected without proper authorization, we will take prompt steps to delete it in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

 

5. User-Generated Data

The App allows users to input personal measurement data such as height and weight. Users are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any data they provide. TecFams Pte Ltd does not determine, validate, or control which individuals’ data are entered or tracked within the App. All decisions regarding data entry and profile management are entirely at the discretion of the user.

 

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including but not limited to cases where you violate these Terms or misuse the App. You may also choose to delete your account at any time through the app settings.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of TecFams Pte Ltd and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

 

8. Feedback

By submitting feedback, suggestions, or improvement ideas to us, you grant TecFams Pte Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to use, reproduce, and incorporate that feedback for any purpose, without compensation to you.

 

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://tecfams.com.

 

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. TecFams Pte Ltd makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App’s accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The App is intended for informational use only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

 

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TecFams Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the App.
  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

 

12. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page. You are advised to review these Terms periodically for any changes. Changes to these Terms are effective when they are posted on this page.

 

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
